Over U-Boat
U-Boat was founded in 2000 by Italian designer Italo Fontana, inspired by his grandfather Ilvo's 1942 sketches, who was once commissioned to design watches for the Italian Navy. Each U-Boat watch is handcrafted in Tuscany, is immediately recognizable by its striking crown on the left side of the case, and combines Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision movements. U-Boat was founded in 2000 by Italo Fontana, who built on the designs his grandfather drew for the Italian navy in the 1940s. The U-Boat Darkmoon Anniversary Capsoil is a men's watch with a round 46 mm stainless steel case and a black dial. It is powered by a Ronda quartz movement (calibre 712.3).
The oil-filled Capsoil case completely suppresses reflections, making the dial look sharp and deep regardless of the light. Sapphire glass, a screw-down crown, and 5 ATM water resistance make it resistant to daily use. It comes with a 22 mm silicone strap with a buckle. With a case height of 17 mm, it remains comfortable to wear.
