Over Victorinox
Victorinox, founded in 1884 in Ibach, Switzerland, is world-renowned as the maker of the Swiss Army Knife, and entered the watch market in 1989 with the same philosophy of functionality, durability, and Swiss quality. With Victorinox, you get the craftsmanship of a proud Swiss Made watch, without paying for image or exclusivity.
Victorinox designs watches the same way it designs its knives: everything has a purpose and nothing is superfluous. The Victorinox Air Pro GMT combines this in a round 43 mm silver stainless steel case under a black dial. Behind the dial is an automatic Sellita movement (calibre SW200-1), providing a 38-hour power reserve and 26 jewel bearings.
The tried-and-tested 20 bar water resistance makes the watch usable where most models fail. Practically, it offers a second time zone. Protection is not lacking: sapphire crystal and a screwed-down crown. The finish consists of a 21 mm silicone strap with a folding clasp.
