Over U-Boat
U-Boat was founded in 2000 by Italian designer Italo Fontana, inspired by his grandfather Ilvo's 1942 sketches, who was once commissioned to design watches for the Italian Navy. Each U-Boat watch is handcrafted in Tuscany, is immediately recognizable by its striking crown on the left side of the case, and combines Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision movements. Since 2000, U-Boat has been building watches that don't go unnoticed, with a design language directly reminiscent of marine instruments. The U-Boat U-65 PVD Green Capsoil is a men's watch with a round 44 mm stainless steel case and a black dial. Behind the dial is a Ronda quartz movement (calibre 712.3).
The oil-filled Capsoil case completely suppresses reflections, making the dial look sharp and deep regardless of the lighting. Furthermore, it features sapphire glass and water resistance up to 5 bar. It is worn on a 22 mm silicone strap with a buckle.
