Over U-Boat

U-Boat was founded in 2000 by Italian designer Italo Fontana, inspired by his grandfather Ilvo's 1942 sketches, who was once commissioned to design watches for the Italian Navy. Each U-Boat watch is handcrafted in Tuscany, is immediately recognizable by its striking crown on the left side of the case, and combines Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision movements. This model features a round 46mm stainless steel case with a black dial. It is powered by a Sellita automatic movement (calibre SW200-1), offering a power reserve of 41 hours and 26 jewels.

Its 30 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of a typical splash-proof watch. Additionally, it has a date display. Further features include sapphire crystal and a screwed-down crown. The watch is worn on a 23mm silicone strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 17mm.
