Over U-Boat

U-Boat was founded in 2000 by Italian designer Italo Fontana, inspired by his grandfather Ilvo's 1942 sketches, who was once commissioned to design watches for the Italian Navy. Each U-Boat watch is handcrafted in Tuscany, is immediately recognizable by its striking crown on the left side of the case, and combines Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision movements. The U-Boat Sommerso Damascus is a men's watch with a round, silver 46 mm stainless steel case and a black dial. It is powered by a Sellita automatic movement (calibre SW200-1), offering a power reserve of 41 hours and 26 jewel bearings.

Its proven 30 bar water resistance makes this watch suitable for situations where most models would fail. Practically, it features a date display. Sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown make it resistant to daily wear and tear. The finish includes a 22 mm silicone strap with a buckle. The case height remains manageable at 17 mm.
