Over Alpina
Founded in 1883, Alpina is globally renowned for its luxury sport watches, a tradition that began over 140 years ago with the groundbreaking Alpina 4 concept: anti-magnetic, shock-resistant, water-resistant and crafted from stainless steel. Today, all Alpina timepieces are designed and assembled in Geneva, Switzerland, featuring in-house calibres that reflect the highest watchmaking standards — an ideal choice for those who combine quality and adventure.
In 1883, Alpina laid the foundation for the modern sports watch and, with the Alpina 4, formulated the requirements such a watch had to meet. This version features a round 41 mm black stainless steel case with a white dial. It is powered by an automatic Alpina movement (calibre AL-650), offering a power reserve of 38 hours and 31 jewels.
Swimming and snorkelling pose no problem whatsoever: the watch is water-resistant to 20 bar. Furthermore, it features sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown, and a water resistance of up to 20 bar. It is worn on a 26 mm silicone strap with a buckle. With a case height of 12 mm, wearing it remains comfortable.
