G-Shock set the standard for what a watch should be able to withstand and, forty years later, is still not deviating from it. This model features an octagonal black 45 mm plastic case with a white dial. It is powered by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). Readability is via an analog-digital display.
Its 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of an average splash-proof watch. In addition, it has an alarm, chronograph, and date display. It also has mineral glass. The watch is worn on a plastic strap with a buckle. The case height of 12 mm remains within reasonable limits.
