Over G-Shock
G-SHOCK is synonymous with ultimate toughness and innovation, with watches designed to withstand the toughest conditions. With advanced features and a rugged design, G-SHOCK watches are ideal for active lifestyles.
G-Shock was born in 1983 from one ambition of designer Kikuo Ibe: to create a watch that could survive a ten-meter fall. With the G-Shock Mod Oak All Black, this comes together in an octagonal 45 mm resin case under a black dial. The movement comes from a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). Readability is via an analog-digital display.
The 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of a typical splash-proof watch. Additionally, it features an alarm, chronograph, and date display. Mineral glass makes it resistant to daily use. The watch is worn on a resin strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 12 mm.
