Over G-Shock
G-SHOCK is synonymous with ultimate toughness and innovation, with watches designed to withstand the toughest conditions. With advanced features and a rugged design, G-SHOCK watches are ideal for active lifestyles.
G-Shock originated in 1983 from one ambition of designer Kikuo Ibe: to create a watch that could survive a ten-meter fall. This translates here into an octagonal 45mm plastic case, set against a black dial. It is powered by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). The analogue-digital display keeps the readout clear.
Swimming and snorkelling are no problem at all: the watch is water-resistant to 20 bar. On board are an alarm, chronograph, and date display. Furthermore, there is mineral glass and water resistance up to 20 bar. It is worn on a plastic strap with a buckle. With a case height of 12mm, wearing it remains comfortable.
