G-Shock was born in 1983 from designer Kikuo Ibe's single ambition: to create a watch that could survive a 10-meter fall. In the G-Shock The Origin Block Black Series, this comes together in a 43mm square plastic case under a black dial. It is powered by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 3229). The digital display keeps the readout clear.

With water resistance up to 20 bar, the watch is suitable for serious use in and under water. It also features an alarm, chronograph, and date display. Protection is not lacking: mineral glass. On the wrist is a plastic strap with a buckle. With a case height of 13mm, wearing it remains comfortable.
