Frederique Constant develops and assembles its watches in its own workshop in Geneva, offering manufacture technology at a fraction of the usual price. The Frederique Constant Slimline Heart Beat continues this approach with a round 40 mm silver case in stainless steel and a black dial. It is powered by a Frederique Constant automatic movement (calibre FC-312), offering a power reserve of 38 hours and 26 jewels.
As a mechanical watch, it runs entirely on wrist movement, without a battery. It also features a date display. Protection is not lacking: sapphire crystal, an open case back, and water resistance up to 5 bar. The watch is worn on a leather strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 9 mm.
