Since 1983, G-Shock has stood for shock resistance that is integrated throughout the entire construction, not as an addition but as a starting point. This translates here into a round silver 44 mm stainless steel case, set against a black dial. Power is provided by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). Readability is via an analogue-digital display.
The 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of an average splash-proof watch. In addition, there is an alarm. There is no lack of protection: mineral glass and a screwed crown. The watch is worn on a 24 mm textile strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 12 mm.
