Since 1983, G-Shock has stood for shock resistance implemented throughout the entire construction, not as an addition but as a basic principle. With the G-Shock G-Steel, this comes together in a round 44 mm stainless steel case under a silver dial. It is powered by a Casio quartz movement (caliber 5611). Readability is provided by an analog-digital display.
The 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of an average splash-proof watch. In addition, there is an alarm. Mineral glass and a screw-down crown make it resistant to daily use. The watch is worn on a 24 mm silicone strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 12 mm.
