G-Shock set the standard for what a watch should be able to withstand and has not deviated from that forty years later. With the G-Shock Classic, this comes together in a round silver 44 mm stainless steel case with a blue dial. Powering it is a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). The analogue-digital display keeps the time easy to read.
Swimming and snorkeling are no problem: the watch is water-resistant to 20 bar. It also features an alarm. Mineral glass, a screwed-down crown, and 20 bar water resistance make it resistant to daily use. It is worn on a 16 mm steel strap with a folding clasp.
