The G-Shock G-Steel continues this approach with a round 43 mm silver stainless steel case and a black dial. It is powered by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 3229). Readability is via a digital display.
Its 20-bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of an average splash-proof watch. It also features an alarm. Protection is not lacking: mineral glass and a screwed crown. The watch is worn on a 24 mm plastic strap with a buckle.
