G-Shock has set the standard for what a watch should be able to withstand and, forty years later, still adheres to it. This is reflected in a round 40mm silver stainless steel case, set against a blue dial. Behind the dial is a Casio quartz movement (caliber 5611). Readability is via an analog-digital display.
The 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of an average splash-proof watch. In addition, there is an alarm. Mineral glass and a screw-down crown make it resistant to daily use. The watch is worn on a 20mm plastic strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 11mm.
