Since 1983, G-Shock has stood for shock resistance that is integrated throughout the entire construction, not as an addition but as a fundamental principle. This version features a round, 40mm silver stainless steel case with a pink dial. Power is provided by a Casio quartz movement (calibre 5611). Readability is via an analog-digital display.

The 20 bar water resistance elevates this model far above the level of a typical splash-proof watch. Additionally, it includes an alarm. Protection is not lacking: mineral glass and a screw-down crown. The watch is worn on a 20mm synthetic strap with a buckle. The case height remains within limits at 11mm.
