Citizen owes its reputation to technology that simplifies everyday use, with light as an energy source being the most well-known example. The Citizen Tsuyosa continues this approach with a round 40mm silver stainless steel case and a yellow dial. Powering it is a Citizen automatic movement, providing a power reserve of 40 hours.
The automatic movement is wound by the motion of the wrist, thus requiring no battery. It also features a date display. Protection is not lacking: sapphire crystal, an exhibition case back, and water resistance up to 5 bar. On the wrist is a 22mm steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
